We, at Faraway, are delighted to announce that as part of our development of the local Autism offer, Faraway have secured their own premises to deliver their peer-led services from. This is an exciting opportunity for us to grow as an organisation and continue developing peer-led support for our neurodivergent community.
This move will enhance our service offer and the close partnership working we have with CPG and Navigo in collectively delivering the NEL Autism Strategy by creating another safe and welcoming environment for Neurodivergent adults, their families and supporters, to connect with others and access peer-led support and training.
We are in a central location near the bus station opposite Freshney Place on 2 Alexandra Road, Grimsby, DN31 1RP. There are a few parking spaces on site behind our building (call to access) and Freshney Place car park is just over the road.
We’re working on our signage and will be updating our website with directions, photos and information about accessibility as soon as we can.
If you’d like to come and have a look around and hear about our plans for the development of the space, get in touch on 07835 034014 or by email at info@faraway.org.
Alternatively, we will be hosting some consultation sessions with the Neurodivergent community and partner organisations so people can get involved in the design and development of the space for their use in the future and look forward to seeing you at one of these events.
We thank you for your continued support of Faraway, it is very much appreciated!
