Jay Jassie
Peer Support Mentor
In his role at Faraway, Jay enthusiastically encourages members to develop their personal life and social skills. He hopes to keep working towards his goal of developing a welcoming and safe place for the Faraway members and neurodivergent people in his community.
He is part of a dedicated training team that develops and delivers bespoke training packages for community-based organisations. The training he offers supports staff from these companies to better understand, communicate and engage with people in the autistic community.
Outside of work, Jay spends his time playing bass guitar for a local metal band that plays gigs all over North East Lincolnshire.
