Sebastian Turkington

Allotment Support Worker

As a neurodivergent individual with lived experience of mental health challenges, I have a deep understanding of the difficulties many people face. My passion lies in fostering inclusive communities and promoting environmental conservation.

I am currently pursuing an MEnvSci in Environmental Sciences with an LLB pathway and hold professional memberships with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising (MCIOF) and the Institution of Environmental Sciences (StMIEnvSc). My interests span fundraising, environmental policy, ecology, and environmental law.

Over the past decade, I have contributed to various community-driven and ecological protection projects, advocating for sustainable practices and environmental awareness. I am particularly motivated to support the development of green spaces, such as our community allotment, by creating eco-friendly initiatives and engaging the local community in meaningful conservation efforts.

Through inclusive activities, I strive to bring people together, ensuring that everyone—regardless of background—can benefit from a greener, more sustainable environment''
